Name: Dana Rodriguez
From: Chicago, IL
Dana Says: “I fell in love with modeling when I was 10 years old and was featured in a local boutique’s fashion show. My parents didn’t really support my modeling very much back then, so I had to wait until I turned 16 to truly pursue it on my own. I began by working with photographer Nuru Kimondo, who became a good friend to me, and things pretty much shot off for me from there. As I got exposure from working with her more, I made more amazing connections that got me more chances to get experience, and work at my craft. From fashion shows with Beau Ideal and Deleay Lashay, to photo shoots with Luis DeAndre, Malachi Artese, Kelli Anthony, and many more.“
Goals: “I got turned away from modeling jobs a lot because of my height. My goal is to find a way for amazing petite models to break into the fashion industry, and eventually start an agency of my own specifically for petite models.”
