#1- IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN RAPPING SINCE YOU WERE YOUNG..... 

To me, becoming a rapper is something that has to ALWAYS been in you. If it hasn't, you're NOT a REAL rapper. 

#2-  IF YOU CAN'T FREESTYLE....

This is a touchy claim, but one I stand by. How can you claim yourself to be a rapper, and you can't even freestyle? Free-styling separates the real from the fake to me. Free-styling is a skill that must be acquired over time, however before you consider yourself a rapper, learn how to free style dammit!

#3- YOU'D RATHER SMOKE WEED&ENTERTAIN GROUPIES THAN RAP

Anybody who would rather do those two things than make music is a joke to me. Why should anyone waste their ears on a person who isn't even serious about their craft? IT'S ALL ABOUT INVESTING IN YOURSELF.Please, have a seat and let people who deserve to be called rappers earn the title.

#4-  YOU THINK RAPPING IS A HOBBY...

Again, I ask, why should people waste their time listening to your music if you're NOT serious about your craft? People don't take hobbies serious! Why the hell should we? You CANNOT call yourself a rapper if you consider your talent to be a damn hobby. 

#5- YOU THINK YOU'RE THE NEXT CHIEF KEEF ..

I'm sorry, but there is a HUGE lack of originality in this generations rap game. I don't know why people think they'll get on as quickly and be as popular as Chief Keef, and other rappers before him... Please, kill those pipe dreams and find yourself as an artist and stop trying to imitate the next nigga.

Hip-Hop is too historical of an art for these people to think ANYONE can do it.

So before you call yourself a rapper, read over these few little pointers, and if you fall into any of these categories, either A) QUIT NOW or B) GET YOUR SKILLS UP.
