Week 3 of college. More observations. More stories to tell.

I am one of those people who truly believes that college is NOT for everybody. I believe everyone should get an education, but maybe college isn't the route for some of ya'll. 

I took the liberty of mentally compiling a list of reasons I think people shouldn't be in college, and now I'll share them with you.

You're Out The Hood, But The Hood's Not Out Of You - How in the world, did all you ghetto ass, ratchet ass, human beings get in college? Maybe it's just my college campus, but I swear it's some people on this campus that make you really question if you're on the corner of 79th street, or a college lecture hall. I feel like when you're in an institution of higher learning, you need to conduct yourself as such. Basically, use some common sense and get your acts together! Fighting, going to jail, doing illegal activities, etc is not the way to go when you have to actually pay to go to school now!

You're Disruptive In Class - Did you fools forget you're in college now? I don't care how boring a class is, shut the hell up and learn something! If you can't get anything out of the class you're in, there's always the option to drop it. Don't be an ignorant asshole and disrupt others from learning. Especially when we're all paying for it! Don't waste your money fool!

You Don't Go To Class - I really don't understand why people do this. If you wanted to be a bum, you should have stayed your ass in your hometown, and been a bum for free. Why come all the way to somebody's college and take out all these loans, to not take your ass to class? It's not like you have anything better to do. Just go!

You Don't Know Why You're In College - My English 101 teacher asked us a question on the first day, "Why are you here?" meaning, why are we in college. I'm sure it's a question that crosses everyone's mind, but seriously, if you don't know why you want to go to college, or why you're in it, maybe this isn't your time to be here. Take some time to figure the answer out and whenever you do, go get that education! Never do anything if you haven't thought it 100% through.
