Other Things We Can Watch Besides Sorority Sisters

Photo via Flickr.Somehow, we all knew that VH1's new "reality" show Sorority Sisters was going to be a mess, but yet most of us watched it anyway. And because I am tired of seeing it talked and argued about (Especially the tired old argument of why women in Greek lettered organizations want this show pulled off the air and not shows like Love and Hip-Hop) I compiled a list of things that WE (those of us that are non-Greek and those of us that are) can watch, that are WAY better than Sorority Sisters.

Enjoy!

1. Black Boots

A friend of mine put me on to this show a couple months ago, and I've been hooked ever since! Though I am not apart of any organization, I think this show does an excellent job of capturing Greek life and what it means to be a Black college student in today's times. It is enthralling to see the transformations each character endures, and I'm excited to see where this web series goes. The creator (Geno Brooks) happens to be a man of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a Chicago native and is an overall visual genius to me. Below is the first episode to the series and you can even catch the extended versions of these episodes on their Vimeo page here.

All his videos will have you on the floor dying, but while you're at it, check out his other comedic efforts as well. Below is the first episode of NAPS, which came out a little over a year ago.[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bKYusS09SU?rel=0]3. Omega Rho: Worst Probate Ever? This Delta I know actually showed me this video. I actually know one lady of Sigma Gamma Rho, but we don't have a chapter on my college campus. Nonetheless, this is indeed the worst probate I've ever seen, but I watch it for pure comedy.[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxWKE8yEvJM?rel=0]4. Welcome To The YardI actually came across this video yesterday, and I've watched it too many times to count LOL. I love that the Greeks from Valdosta State University came together to display such an enormous amount of creativity, and I must say, EVERY organization represented in this video snapped![youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8u7NyVzvic?rel=0]What are some of your favorite web series, videos and other forms of media that center around Greek life?
